The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was the start of colonial protests where they protested for their freedom, rights, and respect. The colonists were sick of the British influence in every thing and wanted their freedom. They disliked all the “redcoats” in the town of Boston, patrolling the streets, and they treated them so. With the British in control the colonists lost most of the few rights they already had. When the colonists started protesting against the British, the British cracked down on all the colonists rights. The British treated the colonists like they were inferior to them and the colonists, they just wanted respect. The soldiers took what they wanted and took colonial jobs that they really didn't need, but wanted to prove how superior they are to the colonists. The Boston Tea Party really kicked off all of the colonial protest when they fought for their freedom, rights, and respect. Thanks to the Sons of Liberty the brave colonists were able to dump all of the tea in the river and with that, came the beginning of their liberty.
